A Servant of God
While in a remote village in Indonesia, February of 2019, Noah Blackwell and I along with a worker in the region met a man by the name of, Sanda. This man was the leader of this church when it began with only seven people back in the early 1970’s. Sanda several years back, had a stroke which has limited his ability to walk and communicate the way that he used to. When we spoke with him, he began to weep. He told us that he weeps daily because he can’t serve in the church and give as much as he used to. Today, members of his church will come, pick up , and carry him to the church so that he may worship and love on the children. May we all learn to weep and long to give more of ourselves to the Lord daily.
"and standing behind him at his feet, weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head and kissed his feet and anointed them with the ointment."
-Luke 7:38
